To The Dixon School Community,

There is a new Parking Regulation that I would like to make you aware of before returning to school on Tuesday, September 2, 2025.

Based on parent feedback, you may know that exiting (turning right) from the Dixon parking lot is sometimes challenging, as often a parent, or a neighbour decides to park on the side of the road, at the exit.

With assistance from the City of Richmond, the NO Stopping Zone has been extended to include this area, meaning that should anyone park in this spot, at any time, they may be ticketed.  Our shared goal is to maximize safety for our students and our parents.

When school returns in a couple weeks, we ask all parents to please pull into the parking lot to drop students off (not on Diamond Road), remain in cars and drive slowly.  Hopefully, with a car not being parked at the lot exit, this will increase driver visibility.  We ask that all of our parents and visitor, please do not park in this area.
