We encourage your suggestions and assistance in making decisions as to how best to fundraise and to spend the funds we raise.  All parents are invited to attend a PAC meeting or send an email to dixonpac@gmail.com with your ideas/suggestions.  The funds we raise are used to support activities and purchases that enhance our children's school experience.

Below is a summary of items we traditionally fund:
•    Class field trips
•    Special speakers
•    The Dragonfly Garden project
•    Red Cedar and other books for our school library and for classroom home reading programs
•    Earthquake supplies for each classroom
•    Enhancements to the Fine Arts program

The funds we raise together will help ensure that every child has the most interesting and rewarding educational experience Dixon can offer.  

We recognize that every family has a budget, and charities to which it already dedicates a portion of its budget.  Further, there is absolutely no obligation to participate or donate beyond your comfort level.  Therefore, we are presenting a sample of proposed fundraising activities so you can consider what fundraising events you may like to participate in.

Dixon PAC Fundraising Initiatives for 2015/2016:

Toonie Pizza Day Lunches   

• Students order their pizza & drinks on a Monday, then bring money and a plastic plate on Wednesday (2 days later) to purchase their pizza & juice on Pizza Day.  We serve Domino's Pizza (pepperoni, cheese, Hawaiian & veggie) $2/slice and 100% fruit juice $.50 ea.  
• Toonie Pizza Days: Oct 7, Nov 4, Dec 2, Jan 13, Feb 10, Mar 9, Apr 6, May 11, Jun 8
• Parents if you can help on pizza days, please join us in the gym @ 11:55am for 45 min of pizza slinging fun!

Family Movie Nights

• Come to the Dixon Gymnasium to watch a movie with your family and friends!  Admission by donation with pizza and treats concession and a $.25 raffle for movie posters.  Fun for the whole family!  

QSP Magazine Subscription Sales

• Magazine subscriptions make a wonderful year-round gift and supports reading! Our school earns 5-10% of the value of each subscription you purchase or renew all throughout the year online at www.qsp.ca.

Dixon Craft Fair & Raffle

• Wednesday November 18. 
• This wildly popular event is our key fundraising initiative for the school year.  Bring the whole family out and enjoy the fair!  
• Watch for opportunities to participate with the plans.  

Food Days

• Taco Luis, Hotdog, Sushi/Teriyaki, Pasta & Fresh Slice Pizza Days. 
• Order online by going to www.munchalunch.com.
