1. Welcome & Introductions
Sandra opened the meeting and welcomed all present.
2. Review and Approval of Agenda
Approved.
3. Review and Approval of Minutes of Last Meeting
Minutes of Feb. 19th, 2018 meeting approved.
4. Nominations to PAC Positions
At the conclusions of the meeting, the terms of the existing PAC members end. Sandra called for nominations for members to positions for the 2018 to 2019 year. The following nominations were received:

5. Administrators’ Report
Sean Harrington reported on the following:
- success and fun basketball season, with special thanks to coaches and coordinators Mr. Carkner, Mr. Hunter, Ms. Soo, Mrs. Wong, Mr. Martyniuk, Mr. Rostrup, Mr. Ray and Mr. Harrington, including for RCMP game/staff game/two feeder school tournaments;
- ‘Track Attack’ track meet scheduled for May 3rd;
- grade 7 transition to high schools – introductory session underway;
- next Pro-D, April 23rd, focus will be on working with MATH/ technology;
- ‘Cassie and Friends’ – presentation about Juvenile arthritis was on April 11th;
- ‘Jump Rope For Heart’ event will be Tuesday, April 24th;
- ‘Earth Rangers’ presentation April 25th;
- process for staffing and building classes getting underway, with information to come to parents;
- ‘Litterless Lunch’ and ‘Earth Day’ celebration coming;
- ‘Music in our Schools’ concert by school bands on May 9th, for grade 6/7’s evening sessions from 6:30 til 9 pm;
- the City will be engaged in road constructions in the “Monds” May 1st to September 30th; and
- ‘Raising Digitally Responsible Youth’ - a session for parents of school-aged Children, will take place on April 10th, 6:30-8:30 pm at Ferris Elementary School.
6. Treasurer's Report
Laura Gillanders reported that fundraising has so far brought in approximately $9,000 and that the PAC assets and liabilities are in alignment with the budget.
7. Fundraising Report
Karen Fisher-Hagel reported that one more movie night is being planned and further revenue will be realized by ‘Dragon Day’ food sales. ‘Quebec Trip’ parents are doing their own fundraising, which will involve selling ‘emergency home kits’.
8. School Board SOGI Plan
Sean Harrington reported that the Richmond School Board is seeking feedback specific to a draft ‘sexual orientation & gender identity (SOGI) plan’. Information is available on the School Board’s website.
9. Vote on PAC Position Nominations
All nominations were accepted and, as no single candidate positions were contested, those nominated were acclaimed. The 2018 to 2019 PAC position holders will be:
