Over the past couple of years, Dixon has focused on assessment as a school wide initiative.  During that time, all classrooms in the school worked with e-portfollios as a way of sharing meaningful assessment and enhancing communication with our students and families.  Over the past couple of years, the Dixon staff has changed significantly.  We have had fifteen new staff members over the past two years.   We have changed our focus at Dixon to have a social responsiblity theme that is explained more fully in the "Focus" page of "Our School Story".  With this change in our School Story focus, we hope to make learning connect better for our students by developing a stronger sense of community and social responsibility for families, students and staff.  We are really looking forward to helping build stronger connections for our school and student community.
