The students at Dixon school are a wonderful group of kids with a strong understanding of social responibility.  We have noticed a few things after spending some time observing the school culture and scanning for some information from the students that supports our new focus for Dixon school.

- Students in the French and English programs have limited social involvement during recess and lunch

- Students involved in making poor social choices can ALWAYS tell you what was wrong, and how changing their own behavior could make things better

- We surveyed 170 of our intermediate students.  86% of these students said that Dixon students are more kind when an adult is present and often social responsibility decreases during unsupervised times.
