Minutes of Annual General Meeting of Nov 26, 2018, 7 p.m.

1.Welcome & Introductions
Sandra opened the meeting and welcomed all present.
2.Review and Approval of Agenda
Approved.
3.Review and Approval of Minutes of Last Meeting
Minutes of October 22nd, 2018, meeting approved.
4. Food Days - Marsha from Fuel Catering presented and discussed their menu, pricing, delivery, etc. Samples were provided, as well, pasta samples from Dominoes Pizza were made available for tasting. The Food Days Team will discuss the possibility of adding to or changing our current program.
5.Administrators’ Report
Sean Harrington reported on the following past and upcoming events:
· KBAM – Illumadance, presented by the Rainbow Dance Theatre was enjoyed by all students (thanks to the PAC for funding),
· Dragon Teams and Spirit Day – Wednesday,
· Olympian Evan Dunfee will be leading a race-walking fitness event (forms home on Thursday),
· Report Cards will be coming home on Dec 7th,
· Volleyball season has been a lot of fun and many children have participated this year,
· a Book Fair is scheduled for this week,
· a Quebec Trip parents meeting is scheduled for tomorrow,
· the annual Remembrance Day assembly took place and was well received,
· the annual Jingle Bell Run will be held on Dec 14th,
· Band Concerts will take place on Dec. 12th, at 1:30 and 6:30p.m. in the gym,
· the Winter Celebration Concert will take place on Dec. 20that 1:30 and 6:30 p.m. in the gym, and
· the Craft Fair was another huge success!
6.Treasurer's Report
No report, as Laura Gillanders was absent.
7.Fundraising Report
Approximately $4300 profit was generated by this year’s Craft Fair. The Committee will debrief and discuss ways to improve next year’s fair. PAC will look into possibility of adding line item to budget to include yearly donation to craft fair expenses.
Motion:Diana moved to donate $1000 to Feeducate, as PAC has done in the past. Seconded and approved unanimously.
8.Additional Items
Lisa Fisher offered to look into St. John’s Ambulance Babysitting course being held at Dixon in the Spring. May Wong will check to see if there are any pro-d days on site at Dixon so that date can be used for the course. Lisa will get more info and report back.
Motion to Adjourn Meeting:
MOVED, SECONDED and CARRIED that meeting be adjourned at 7:45 p.m.
